“Knowledge Factory 2010” is closed – the largest IT event in the region

In the past few days, from September 7th to 10th 2010, ComTrade Technology Center was the place of the largest IT event in the region. “Knowledge Factory” attracted the attention of experts, IT media, thousands of guests and a number of officials from several countries, putting information technology at the center of interest and pointing out the problems that hamper its development. During the four-day program a numerous happenings occurred:

VISIT OF STUDENTS AND PUPILS
Hundreds of students from Serbia visited the Knowledge Factory, where they met with appropriate presentations for their ages and interests – public lectures, visits to the Computer factory, presentation of IT solutions that ComTrade develops for the foreign market and career building opportunities for future software engineers.

CONFERENCES AND ROUND TABLES
Expert lectures and expert round tables were a central part of the Knowledge Factory 2010, providing useful information to potential partners and customers, and encouraging public debate about information technology. A numerous representatives of public enterprises, local governments, IT specialists and media representatives were attended on this part of The Event

SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS PRESENTATIONS
ComTrade and its global partners presented their latest software and technology solutions for a number of industries, with a number of practical demonstrations and direct talks with leaders of project teams. Guest speakers came from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNERS OF THE PRIZE COMPETITION RIGHT CLICK 2010
The solution was developed by Marko Novakovic (“mTrade portfolio”). The winner is awarded with a set of computer equipment.

DIRECT CONTACTS WITH VENDORS AND CLIENTS
At the Knowledge Factory a number of direct contacts were established and it will result in improved collaboration between clients – vendors. Knowledge Factory, the biggest regional IT meeting was supported by Microsoft, Intel, HP, IBM, EMC, Oracle, TIBCO, Cisco, and almost all the local professional media and daily newspapers.
