Presidents of Slovenia and Serbia, Danilo Türk and Boris Tadić, visit HERMES SoftLab business premises

September 30th, 2009, Ljubljana – At the business premises of HERMES SoftLab representatives of HERMES SoftLab and Company ComTrade Group presented development achievements and operations of the largest regional IT company to the president of the Republic of Slovenia Danilo Türk and a high Serbian delegation headed by the president of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadić. The guests were made familiar with public administration and e-Health solutions, solutions for telecommunication companies and financial institutions as well as with the development of online gambling solutions.

Last year HERMES SoftLab joined ComTrade Group to develop new services in the field of information technology and to extend its business to the world market. Present in 20 countries around the world and employing over 1600 people, ComTrade Group is one of the largest IT companies of Central and South-Eastern Europe.

During project presentations the representatives of HERMES SoftLab and ComTrade Group put special emphasis on new electronic services in Health and Administration, which offer solutions for digitalization of operation. “The increasing use of IT services in the Health and Public Sectors improves services offered to citizens as well as work- and cost-efficiency of user states”, stated the CEO and majority shareholder of ComTrade Group Veselin Jevrosimović.

Gregor Smrekar, HERMES SoftLab CEO, commented on the partnership between HERMES SoftLab and ComTrade Group: “HERMES SoftLab exports 80 percent of its services and products to the demanding markets of the European Union and the USA; technological, human and economic resources gained with the ComTrade Group union strengthen our presence in the Adriatic region as well as on the US and Near East markets.”
