Spinnaker at the Internet Economics conference

Danas Conference Center together with Spinnaker New Technologies as a technical partner, organized a conference dedicated to Internet Economics on the 16th of March, 2009 in the premises of Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade.

From two panels, the participants in the conference had an opportunity to learn something more regarding the economic potential of the Internet in Serbia, as well as about the increasingly dominating electronic media and the consequent leverage upon the conventional one. The introductory addressing was conducted by Mrs. Jasna Matic, Minister of Telecommunication and Information Society in the Government of Republic of Serbia.

Our colleague Mr. Borislav Blagojevic, Senior Advisor for Internet and New Media, held a presentation in the panel Internet and media – Global trends and local experiences.

Mr. Vladan Atanasijevic, general manager of Spinnaker, emphasized that “it has been almost a year now, from the admission of Hermes SoftLab in the system of ComTrade Group, and the time when as two members of the Comtrade System Integration business unit, Hermes and Spinnaker joined their forces and competencies, and as such participated in the markets of the countries our Group operates in. Our latest endeavor in Serbia is the recent opening of offices in Novi Sad with a purpose to provide even higher level of support to our colleagues in Vojvodina. Of course, our long term goal is founding a large regional competence center which shall respond to the demands of the global market”
