HERMES SoftLab to extend Citrix SPI support to Citrix® Presentation Server 4.5, additional HP Software products and to unveil updated Siebel and Documentum SPI
Las Vegas, 18. June 2007, Hermes SoftLab today announced the launch of its leading management solution for Citrix® Presentation Server 4.5 with the support for key new Citrix and HP Software platforms.
The HERMES SoftLab booth at the HP Software Universe will be featuring a new version of Citrix SPI, which is already monitoring Presentation Servers, Web Interfaces, License Servers, Secure Gateways, user logon processes and much more.
Upcoming Citrix SPI extensions will be supporting the Citrix Presentation Server 4.5, Web Interface 4.5, HP Performance Insight and HP Performance Agent. General availability of these extensions is planned for Q3 2007. Furthermore, integration with HP SiteScope is also set to be announced.

The Smart Plug-in for Citrix is the first management solution to help Presentation Servers server farm managers who are using HP Software to determine which published applications are affected by various farm events. Key performance indicators such as resource consumption by users, session, or application, combined with latency and user logon processes provide a new level of insight into the Presentation Servers. The SPI also provides reporting capacities, including numerous “out-of-the-box” reports, Crystal report customization, and billing reports for usage charging.
HERMES SoftLab will also announce further product updates. Siebel SPI will be available for Siebel 8, and will provide some new insight tools for Siebel Users activity. In addition, Siebel component crash detection and analysis is added, so customers will be able to identify the user that caused the crash and actions that were performed before the crash. SPI will also allow configuring alerts that user want to ignore and provide insight into most inactive records in any Siebel table.
Documentum SPI is richer with Documentum Index Server management and Documentum Site Caching Services management.
