Senior Power BI Consultant

Our growing company Comtrade System Integration is currently seeking Senior Power BI Consultant – to join our team based at our headquarter in Belgrade.

Key responsibilities:

• Meeting with customers, collecting and documenting business needs on data analysis, reporting or advanced analytics requirements;
• Participate in Design and implementation of BI projects – data visualizations, transformations, modelling, data analysis, security requirements, advanced topics like predictive analytics;
• Provide detailed source analysis and data mappings/transformations to BI developers to implement new data sources and integrations;
• Creating innovative data analysis policies to enhance data model implementation and analytics methods;
• Devise and deliver testing plans and testing data to validate BI solutions;
• Working with sales, supporting technical presales of analytics solutions;
• Involved in preparing technical documentation for RFIs, RFPs and other forms of customer request;
• Involved in delivery of webinars/sales events for selected Comtrade Analytics portfolio.

Requirements:

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related technical discipline;
• 5+ years experience with Microsoft BI tools, technologies, and systems;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop application, Power BI Service, Gateway, Capacity, Security);
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization;
• At least 3 years of working experience – Data Warehouses, Big Data, Business Intelligence or other similar projects (part of internal team or in company providing IT services for those clients);
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services concepts, MDX, DAX and SQL Server Reporting Services;
• Solid knowledge of main vendors platforms and services in Data Analytics and AI domain (MS Azure, Oracle, IBM, Open source and others);
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, R is a plus;
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and how clearly communicate insights derived from data analysis;
• Experience with Azure cloud services and integration with Power BI is a plus;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Great team player, able to work efficiently, with minimal supervision.
