Comtrade System Integration at YU INFO 2009
Comtrade System Integration comprised of Hermes SoftLab and Spinnaker New Technologies participated at the 15th jubilee conference YU INFO which took place on mountain Kopaonik, in the congress center Suncani vrhovi, in the period of 08-11.03.2009. This year again, the international conference YU INFO, has successfully gathered experts from Serbia and the neighboring countries – representatives of academic, research and business sectors. These people revealed the latest trends, projects, studies and solutions in the field of Information and Communication Technologies.
Our colleagues Andrija Pejovic, Government Account Manager in Spinnaker New Technologies and Jelena Antic, Marketing Director in Comtrade System Integration, held a lecture in the frames of the conference’s key program on the topic: “New project: Information Systems in the Government of Republic of Serbia.”
In line with the activities for development of the electronic management in Serbia, the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Society runs several projects with a purpose to increase the use of Information Technology in the public administration sector and thus create opportunity for faster development of the electronic management. A central project in this area is exactly the Information System of the Government of Republic of Serbia which is intended to facilitate holding paperless meetings and sessions, as well as electronic communication between the Government and its ministries. The contract for realization of the project “Information Systems of the Government of Republic of Serbia” with the Serbian Government was signed in December 2008, and the corresponding deadline expires on June 12th 2009.
Our colleague Srdjan Atanasijevic, director of R&D in HERMES SoftLab Serbia, held a presentation within the copywriting session eSociety on the topic “WEB tutorial: tips for planning and implementation”.
The project portrays the development flow of the eLearning System based on the Microsoft Share Point platform, for the needs of the Center for Education of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The primary goal of the project is development of a tool which would be used by instructors to facilitate efficient training materials in natural environment MS SPPS, help starters easily access the training materials, monitor their progress, and evaluate their accomplishments at the end of the program. Numerous reports and detailed statistics are available to the instructors as a mean of endorsement concerning the use of the eLearning tool and the process of evaluation. These endorsements help monitor the progress of individual participants and the dynamic of accepting knowledge from the portal
