HERMES SoftLab’s experts at the conference Information Society 2005
Ljubljana, 10 September 2005 – Two members of the HERMES SoftLab development teams Jurij Laznik and Viktor Kovačević will present their research papers at the international multiconference Information Society 2005.
Between 10th and 17th October international multiconference Information Society 2005, which consists conference of eight sectional conferences takes place at the Jožef Stefan Institute. The major goal of the conference is the presentation of information technologies, which are of a key importance for the further progress and development of information society.
Within the Intelligent systems sectional conference on Thursday, 13 October, Viktor Kovačević (with the co-author Bogdan Filipič) will present his research paper with the title »A genetic Algorithm based tool for the database index selection problem«. Jurij Laznik (with the co-author Matjaž B. Jurič) will present his research paper »Approaches for business processes modeling« in the course of the Development and reengineering of information systems conference on Friday, 14 October. Both HERMES SoftLab representatives will thereby contribute to the promotion of knowledge about the information era and information technology, the articles will also be published in the conference’s collection of scientific papers.
