Knowledge Factory in Zvornik proves to be a blockbuster
New edition of the Knowledge Factory, educational event dedicated to information and communication technology, was organized in Zvornik on September 12th and 13th. Supported by top global IT vendors and sponsored by the Republic of Srpska Presidency, the exhibition caused a lot of excitement in the local community and drew huge amount of interest from participants who saw it as a rare opportunity to demonstrate their interests in technology.
Apart from the speech by ComTrade President Veselin Jevrosimović at the ceremonial opening and well-received lectures by our colleagues Borislav Blagojević, Bojan Đuričić and Aleksandar Obradović, the strongest reactions were solicited by the guest appearance of the famous band “Bajaga & Instruktori” during the Knowledge Factory. The participants also had a chance to take part in quizzes and other types of fun activities, with valuable gifts prepared for the most knowledgeable applicants.
Started 3 years ago as a tool for dispersing knowledge about new technologies to a wide range of interested visitors, Knowledge Factory has since developed into a true regional tradition that brings together a large number of students, IT professionals, officials, journalists and technology devotees every year. This year, the action will unite two different events under the slogan “Knowledge2” – a successful assembly in Zvornik is just an introduction for the planned participation of the Knowledge Factory in the “Open days of science” summit scheduled for September 25th and 26th in Podgorica, where diverse educational and entertainment contents will be presented to the public.
